A new weapons factory is to open in the town of Vugosca in Bosnia and Herzegovina following an investment by several companies from the country. The opening is planned for 2018 and its value will be between €10m-€15m. According to official plans, the factory is to employ 250 people. It will use the output of some of the country's older military factories, and the investors plan to make new contracts with the suppliers. The investment is expected to have a huge impact on this portion of the sector in the country.
