New supply on the Polish industrial and warehouse market exceeded 2.2 million sqm in 2018, according to the latest Savills report, down by just 140,000 sqm from the record set in 2017. More than 790,000 sqm of warehouse was delivered in central Poland, accounting for 36 percent of 2018’s total supply. This region also saw the biggest completion in the 12-month period: Panattoni’s Central European Logistics Hub. Other leading markets in terms of new supply were Upper Silesia (nearly 280,000 sqm) and Warsaw (more than 230,000 sqm). With their total industrial stock exceeding 3.9 million sqm, Warsaw and its suburbs remain the largest market in Poland, according to Savills.
