New electric utility vehicle plant to open in Bulgaria

Cenntro Automotive Corporation is partnering with Sevic eMobility to develop an assembly plant for electric utility vehicles in Bulgaria. The companies will invest €10m over the next three years. The plant will go up in the Trakia economic zone near Plovdiv and employ 150 people. In addition to assembling small electric utility vehicles, the companies’ regional hub will also do maintenance and produce vehicle parts. Cenntro Automotive Corporation is based in China, while Sevic eMobility is a Luxembourg company.
