New electric car factory to go up in southern Bulgaria

Chinese electric car producer Cenntro Automotive Corporation and SEVIC eMobility will invest €10m to develop a production plant near Plovdiv, southern Bulgaria. To go up in the Trakia Economic Zone, the new plant will produce electric cars and employ between 250 and 300 people. The investment will be developed in three phases. Sixty percent of the parts produced at the plant will be for small vehicles with specialized B2B needs, like transportation of chilled goods, street cleaning and garbage collection.
