Mubea building €51m Slovak auto parts factory

Mubea Engineering has begun construction of a new factory in Kežmarok where it will produce automobile parts. The German companz will also be setting up a new engineering centrum in the Slovak town as well as a spare parts storage warehouse. "Groundworks are currently underway," said the company's representative Ondrej Zima. "The deadline for completion shifted six months from the original plan to halfway trough 2020. The SITA newswired writes that the investment is expected to come to €51m, with the Slovak government having promised €15m in investment support. Up to 500 people are expected to work in the park, of which 115 are to be involved in research and development.
