Enemalta, in partnership with Malta Montenegro Wind Park, has opened the Mozura 46MW wind farm in Montenegro's Ulcinj municipality. The investment is valued at €90m. The farm includes 23 turbines, which are expected to produce 120 GWh of electricity per year. “It took three years to build this megaproject. The project is spreading on 8.5 km of newly constructed roads. The challenges of building and commissioning 23 wind turbines were numerous, but we were able to overcome. This project brought us together, bringing our countries closer together, both in population and GDP growth,” said Joe Mizzi, Malta’s minister of energy and water supply.
