Montenegrin exports fall 8.6 percent in Q1, but imports drop faster

The total volume of foreign trade in Montenegro from January 1 to April 30 came to €801.8m, according to preliminary data from the Statistical Office of Montenegro. The volume of exports reached a value of €114.4m, while imports reached €687.4m. Compared to the same period last year, exports slipped 8.6 percent, while imports were 10.2 percent off the pace. The largest foreign trade partners in exports were: Serbia (€27.2m), Slovenia (€15.4m) and Hungary (€ 11m). Montenegro's largest volume of imports came from (€131m ), Germany (€65m ) and China (€61.3m).
