Gross mine PJ Srebrenica in Bosnia has continued to set record production levels. In 2018 it produced 356,000 tons of zinc from the mine which is located in Srebrenica, eastern Bosnia. The operation initiated an approvals process for the construction of new flotation landfill last year. In 2018 it invested €2.2m into its operations and expects to sink another €3m into new equipment and mining preparation works. The majority owner of mine is the UK Mineco Limited. Mineco, which manages across Serbia, is an international group that sells non-ferrous metals and ore concentrates with investments around the SEE countries and the former Soviet Union.
