Prague police were called in to investigate why water began leaking into the Bořisavka metro station on the A line on Sunday. The situation caused the metro to shut down between nam. Miru and Nemocnice Motol for two hours. The spokeswoman of the Prague Transport Company said the leakage was caused by construction of the Bořislavka Centrum that's being developed by KKCG Real Estate. Engineers investigated the site and found that the metro's structure was not compromised and allows for continued use, however trains will pass through the area at low speed for the time being. A spokeswoman for the developer said a mistake had been made on the angle of drilling for a foundation pile.
