The troubled Slovenian retailer Mercator is selling its 12 shopping centers in the Balkan region. In Bosnia, they include Sarajevo Mall, Sarajevo Novi Mall along with centers located in Tuzla, Mostar, Banjaluka, Dobrinje. In Croatia, Mercator will be selling Super Konzum Radnicka in Zagreb, along with centers in Split, Pula and Rijeka. All of the shopping centers have been leased by Konzum since 2014, when Agrokor acquired Mercator. Mercator Group's net debt stood at around €667m in March this year, down €148m from a year earlier. The sales are part of a plan agreed with the Slovenian government to transfer Mercator shares into the Fortenova Group by the end of November this year.
