Meghann Martindale has joined CBRE as Global Head of Retail Research. Based in New York City, Martindale will work closely with the company’s retail leaders and professionals to generate in-depth research and analysis examining the ongoing evolution of the retail industry into a consumer directed, omnichannel marketplace. The move marks a return to CBRE, where she worked as a leasing and sales associate in San Francisco from 2001 to 2006. Martindale spent many years in leasing roles at Simon Property Group in New York, Related Urban in Los Angeles and Terranomics Retail Services in San Rafael, Calif. She holds a B.A. from Pepperdine University, is a Certified Leasing Specialist and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and Urban Land Institute.

“Meghann is the perfect choice to continue CBRE’s analysis of consumer preferences, retail innovations, economic shifts and how each factor will shape retail real estate in the future,” said Anthony Buono, CBRE Global President of Retail. “Her broad and diverse experience will enrich the insights she delivers for CBRE professionals and clients.”
