Mark Wancier to head commercial real estate at Metropolitan Commercial Bank

Mark Wancier was named head of commercial real estate at Metropolitan Commercial Bank. He will report to Scott Lublin, executive vice president and chief lending officer. With more than 20 years of lending and investing experience across a broad range of commercial real estate institutions, Wancier will be responsible for the overall operations of the bank’s commercial real estate lending division. Prior to joining Metropolitan, he was head of commercial real estate origination and capital markets at Bank Hapoalim, the US branch of Israel’s largest bank. Wancier also served as vice president for the real estate debt group at JP Morgan Investment Management and was an underwriter at Arbor Realty Trust.
