Lufthansa Technik to open service center in Hungary

The German aircraft maintenance and repair company Lufthansa Technik will open a new service center in Miskolc, northeastern Hungary. The company plans to invest HUF 43 billion in the project. Lufthansa will repair aircraft parts at the facility which should employ 400 people. The Hungarian government has pledged to contribute to training support. Founded in 1995 in Hamburg, the company operates globally with over 25,000 employees.
