Lincoln Property Company has teamed up with MGT Investment Management in a joint venture that's acquired Station Hill, a six-and-a-half-acre development site in central Reading. The site was acquired from Stanhope and Benson Elliot. The site is located directly in front of the main entrance to Reading Railway Station, which has recently undergone a major redevelopment and enhancement in advance of the opening of Crossrail in 2019. The site has outline planning permission and an agreed Section 106 for a combined office and residential development with a GDV exceeding £750m.

Henry Morris, MD at MGT Investment Management said the joint venture was based on MGT leading acquisitions and investment management while Lincoln Property Company would be in charge of development, construction and leasing duties. Troy Javaher, Managing Director of the European operations at Lincoln Property Company said the site's location next to Reading station was of enormous benefit to the project. "We understand the strategic importance of this infill development to Reading’s continued economic growth," said Javaher.
