Lidl to open fifth warehouse in Romania

Lidl is preparing to open a warehouse in Cordun, a settlement in northeastern Romania near the Moldovan border. This will be the German discount chain’s fifth warehouse location on the local market and its first in the vicinity of Moldova. The investment will have a total built area of ​​44,960 sqm on a ​​132,000 sqm plot. The company already has hubs in Chiajna, Nedelea, Iernut and Lugoj.
