A subsidiary of the Libra Group, Elandis, has purchased a 140,000 square foot tract of undeveloped land on the Estancia de Cafayate residential and sporting estate in the Salta region of northwest Argentina. The firm plans to build ten more two-bedroom residential villas to Elandis’s existing Grace Cafayate hotel and villas complex on the estate. The villas will be sold to private buyers but made available for hotel guest usage when owners are not in residence. The property currently encompasses 52 keys comprising 12 rooms and suites in the hotel’s main building and a further 40 guest rooms within the 20 residential villas. Amenities include an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Bob Cupp, two polo fields, indoor counter-current heated swimming pool, a gym, tennis and squash courts.
