Latecoere Bulgaria opens new plant in Plovdiv

Latecoere Bulgaria opened a new factory at the industrial zone near Plovdiv. The company is planning to assembled electric cabinets for Airbus as well as parts for airplane doors at the factory. By 2020, the investment’s value is expected to hit €15m. Latecoere Bulgaria invested €10m in the first phase of the project, which covered 5,000 sqm. The second phase, planned for next year, will add 4,000 sqm. An additional 150 people will be employed at the factory before the end of 2018. Latecoere Group operates in Germany, the Czech Republic, the US, Brazil, India, Morocco and Tunisia.
