Kromberg & Schubert opens first plant in Serbia

Kromberg & Schubert opened a car cable plant in Krusevac, central Serbia. The planned budget for this project is €29m, with €20m having been invested so far. There are currently 565 employees working at the new 23,000 sqm facility. Kromberg & Schubert is planning to make an additional 200 hires by the end of 2018. By 2022, there should be 2,500 people working at the factory. The German, family-run company produces car components. It is a leading supplier for wire systems, cables and injection technology products. It operates in 45 locations around the world and employs more than 48,000 people.
