István Papp named VP of business development at HIPA

István Papp has been appointed vice president of business development at the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA). In this newly created role, Papp will be responsible for developing and supporting relationships with Hungarian small and medium-sized enterprises in order to facilitate their highest possible involvement in the investor supply chain. Papp has more than 21 years of experience in the ICT and telecom sectors. Prior to joining HIPA, Papp was a former managing director at Microsoft where he helmed the tech giant’s business in Asia and the Pacific region.
