Take-up in Poland’s industrial sector exceeded 800,000 sqm in the first three months of 2019, the third highest first quarter result ever, according to JLL. More than 620,000 sqm were delivered to the market in Q1, and an additional 2 million sqm was under construction. “The rapid growth of the industrial market in Poland is still mainly driven by new lease agreements and tenant extensions, which accounted for more than 580,000 sqm. The results seen at the beginning of the year gives cause for optimism in the months to come,” said Tomasz Olszewski, head of industrial for the CEE region at JLL.
