In February the construction output up by 48 percent in Hungary

Hungary's Central Statistical Office reports that construction output was up 48 percent this February compared to a year ago. That included 39.4 percent greater output in the construction of buildings and a 65.4 percent jump in civil engineering works, including railways and roads. In money terms, the result in February 2018 was HUF 151.4bn but this rose to HUF 247.2bn in 2019, with a 22.1 percent increase in the volume of new orders. Total construction output for 2019 was listed at HUF 444.2bn.
