Ian Worboys, CEO PointPark Properties (P3), to speak at CEDER Conference Romania 2019
Ian Worboys will be part of the business leaders mix to speak at CEDER Conference on 29th of May, at Radisson Blu Hotel, in Bucharest.
Ian Worboys joined P3 as CEO in 2009. Since then he has steered the company on a path of rapid growth, surpassing 4.1 million m² of warehouse space in 11 European countries, and overseeing the company’s recent acquisition by the Singapore Sovereign Wealth Fund (GIC) in 2017.
Worboys came to P3 from Panattoni, where he was Managing Director for Western Europe with responsibility for developing warehousing and out-of-town retail space. Prior to that he was also Managing Director at Gazeley, where he was in charge of its operations in Belgium, France and Spain.
His career in real estate began in 1981, when he joined Strutt & Parker, the London-based property agency. This followed the studies at the University of the West of England, where he graduated with a degree in Valuation and Estate Management. As a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) he is also a former chairman of the Industrial Agents Society in the UK.
