Seven companies are planning to set up shared service centers in Hungary, according to Peter Szijjarto, the minister of foreign affairs and trade. He said that Hungary will change its investment support scheme starting next month, noting that job creation will no longer be a prerequisite for budget support. The first SSC opened in Hungary in the 1990s, and this sector has been continuously growing ever since. There are currently more than 110 companies with service centers in the country, with around 50,000 employees.
