Hungarian Finance minister calls for widespread digitalization

Hungary's Finance Minister Mihaly Varga says that digitalization has become of a top economic policy objective for the country. He said Hungary's long-term competitiveness would depend on its ability to adapt to a digital future and that a system of goals needed to be created along with a centralized system of coordination. The country's public administration needs to undergo a systematic digitalization while digital skills, he said, must be included in the programs of schools.
