International construction group HSF System, part of the PURPOSIA Group holding, has handed over three green shopping centres in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. These are retail shopping parks Klokan in Humpolec, Lipník nad Bečvou and Bytč with a leasable area of almost 16,000 sqm. In total, they offer 27 retail units and almost 500 parking spaces. The new centres have also created dozens of jobs. The investors are the developer KLM real estate, which focuses mainly on retail and logistics development, and the J&T Property Opportunities Sicav fund. Another Czech shopping centre Klokan is planned in Úpice.

Green measures are playing an increasingly important role in the construction of retail and shopping centres. "Actively contributing to the development of towns and villages through projects that improve the environment and quality of life in their localities is in line with our business philosophy focused on sustainable construction," said Tomáš Kosa, director and deputy chairman of the board of HSF System, the international construction group that was the general contractor for the construction of Klokan shopping centres in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

For investors KLM real estate and the J&T Property Opportunities Sicav fund, HSF System construction group is currently planning the construction of another Klokan shopping centre, which is planned to be built this year in Úpice in the Kralovehradecky region.

The OC Klokan shopping centres in Humpolec, Lipník nad Bečvou and Bytč have green solutions such as green roofs, retention pavements in car parks, rainwater harvesting systems and energy-saving technologies.
"The new business parks not only boost the local economy and provide new jobs, but also prove that retail construction can be environmentally friendly. Investing in green measures is our long-term priority and will be part of other centres we are planning in the coming years," said Michal Kozáček, member of the board of KLM real estate.

The OC Klokan shopping centre in Humpolec was built on the site of a former bus station. The leasable area of the two separate buildings is 4,500 m2 and offers a total of nine retail units. The complex includes a parking lot for 166 vehicles and park landscaping.

OC Klokan Lipník nad Bečvou with a total leasable area of 3,700 m2 has six commercial units and a car park with 53 parking spaces.

The multifunctional complex OC Klokan Bytča with a total leasable area of 7,666 m2 offers modern business and service premises in 12 separate blocks. The dominant feature of the centre is a space for a food chain. The car park offers 275 parking spaces.
