Howden ČKD Compressors has decided to relocate its manufacturing plant from Prague's Vysočany District to a new BTS facility now under construction in the P3 Prague D11 industrial park. The 5,450 sqm facility will require the installation of millions of euro worth of specialized production machinery. Completion is expected by the end of the year.

Howden ČKD Compressors specializes in the manufacture of custom turbo compressors. "Last year, our company went through an extensive restructuring with a view to responding to changes in the marketplace. Our current facilities are no longer suitable in view the company's future strategy," said Kateřina Klobalová, an executive charged with managing Howden ČKD Compressors. JLL worked with Howden in its search for new premises. Tomáš Míček, P3's Country Head for the Czech Republic, said the site offers another 53,000 sqm of space for tenants looking for BTS facilities.
