Preparations for the construction of a high-speed rail line from Prague to Brno and Břeclav got back on track yesterday after a decision from the anti-monopoly board allowed a documentation tender to proceed. SZDC, the company that maintains the country's railway network, is in the process of choosing a company to carry out a feasibility study for the investment. However, the tender was thrown into doubt after complaints over the requirements placed on bidders. The decision means that the tender, which will pick the best route for the high-speed line and whether the investment is worth it, can go ahead. Among the bidders are SUDOP, Af Cityplan, Prodex, and Cedop.
