Henkel closes Serbian factory over safety concerns

Henkel will close its plant in Krusevac, Serbia for a period of two weeks in order to protect the health and safety of its employees. While all production facilities will shut down, the company's logistics operation will continue to at reduced capacity in order to ensure that the public continues to receive needed products. Henkel's plant in Krusevac will continue to abide by all other measures prescribed by the World Health Organization and by local authorities to help in the suppression of the novel coronavirus. Henkel is active globally, with more than 52,000 employees and sales of more than €20bn.
