It’s being reported that Heitman sold Mercury Logistics Park outside Bucharest to the Czech-based industrial developer CTP. Built on 11.5 ha on the 23 kilometer of the A1 highway connecting Bucharest and Ploiesti, the logistics park has three existing buildings on the site with room to build additional buildings. ZF reported that CTP plans to build a new temperature-controlled building on the site.
JLL represented Heitman in the transaction. “The sale of Mercury Logistics Park is the second most significant industrial transaction in Romania in the last six months,” said Troy Javaher, lead CEE director of the EMEA capital markets team at JLL.
Mercury Logistics Park is currently occupied by Dumagas Transport, Tibbett Logistics and Rhenus Logistics.
