The German company Guntner Tata Hutotechnika plans to invest HUF 8bn in western Hungary. The refrigeration equipment producer will invest in a new factory in the city of Tata, creating 150 new jobs in the process. The Hungarian government has promised to provide a HUF 1.5bn grant for this investment, which will result in a new 9,000 sqm plant and a 6,500 sqm warehouse and logistic center. Over 95 percent of the company's products are shipped abroad as exports. Gunter's existing plant in Tata is the company's largest.
