Globalworth portfolio value swells to €2.5bn

Globalworth Real Estate’s combined portfolio value rose to €2.5bn during 2018, a 35.6-percent jump from 2017. The company’s activities, which are focused on Romania and Poland, included the acquisition of five existing buildings in Poland and three land plots in Romania worth a total of €538.3m. It leaves Globalworth’s portfolio split 51/49 percent between Romania and Poland. Its largest-ever acquisition came through the deal for Warsaw Skylight & Lumen, a €190m property. The company bought other class A buildings such as Spektrum Tower, Warta Tower and West Link offices.
In Romania, Globalworth acquired three land plots on which it will be building new developments at a combined cost of €17.5m. Last year, it finished the first phase of Globalworth Campus in Bucharest, and the second phase is already underway. The other development completed at the end of last year was Renault Bucharest Connected, Globalworth’s ninth property delivered in Romania since 2015.
