In June 2020, the Gazprom Group secured a €500m loan from an international bank until 2025. This year, Gazprom has already placed bonds RUB 242bn in a series of issuances, which is 43 percent of the limit it set for its borrowing program for the current year. According to Interfax, Gazprom also raised loans worth €100.3m from an international bank during the spring. With the new borrowing, Gazprom's total level of borrowing will increase to roughly RUB 289bn, 52 percent of its planned financing for 2020.
