Froneri Adriatic opens €20m plant in Serbia

Froneri Adriatic has opened a new ice cream factory near Belgrade. The value of the investment, a reconstruction of the old Nestle plant in Stara Pazova, was €20m. Froneri started operating in Serbia six months ago. The new 23,500 sqm plant features 12 production lines. The company will export 95 percent of its products to 24 countries, employing 70 permanent and more than 350 seasonal workers. Froneri operates in more than 20 countries around the world and has 15,000 employees. It is headquartered in the UK and has offices around Europe, Middle East, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, the Philippines and South Africa.
