The Vranjes business zone in eastern Sarajevo is expanding. Four companies recently started developing new facilities in the micro-business zone, with completion set for spring. The new facilities underway include a warehouse for Zelenara, a company involved in the retail and wholesale of fruits and vegetables. Edengarden, an umbrella producer, is building a production area as well as a showroom. The construction companies Akvamontmerc and Marvel are also building two facilities within the business zone. Several others companies, meanwhile, are currently preparing documentation for future projects. Vitinka is planning to build a new distribution center at the site, while Zlatno Zrno, Vladrag and Ermex are scheduled to break ground on new facilities at Vranjes next year.
