Former deputy Mihail Solcan, the owner of an important player on the construction market in the Republic of Moldova, bought a plot of land suitable for a residential complex with over 100 apartments from the family of George Becali.

Through his Romanian company Mold Capital Invest, Solcan bought a plot of land in Pipera, with an area of about 5,000 sqm. Sources say that the Moldovan investor will not start a real estate development on the plot for the time being. The property is located in the area of office buildings in Pipera, where companies such as Coca-Cola, Mercedes-Benz, Bergenbier and Altex have their headquarters. Taking into account the urban indicators approved in the area, a residential complex with over 100 premium apartments could be built on Solcan's land. This is not Solcan's first real estate investment in Romania.
