The first wind farm in Bosnia is scheduled to open on Wednesday in the village of Mesihovina. The farm, reportedly the biggest of its kind in the SEE region, has 22 wind generators with a total capacity 50.6 MW and an annual production of around 165.17 GWh. It will supply power to 27,500 households in the Tomislavgrad municipality. The investment is valued at around €82m, of which €72m was covered by the German KfW development bank. The German government also invested €1m in the project.
