The first phase of Lustica Bay, a new resort town along the Montenegrin coast, opened in the Tivat municipality. The resort along the Lustica peninsula will offer a total of seven hotels, two marinas, an 18-hole golf course and around 200 apartments, villas and family houses. The second phase of construction is expected to break ground in October and will feature the Central complex. Central will include a shopping center, restaurants, cafes, markets, a pedestrian zone and squares, boutiques, galleries, supermarkets, playgrounds, sports fields and an indoor swimming pool. Total project costs are expected to hit €1.1bn, with the Montenegrin government paying 10 percent and Orascom Development picking up the remaining 90 percent.
