FAKT AG to invest €1bn in Hungarian agricultural project

The German company FAKT AG is going to invest in a new center in northwestern Hungary. The €1bn investment will go towards its horticultural production, processing and logistic center. The center will be built on a 330 ha plot located near Bezenye and Hegyeshalom, on the Budapest-Vienna-Bratislava axis and will serve customers across Europe. This center includes fish farm, 30 ha of greenhouses, 50 ha of horticultural area, cooling containers, hotel, apartments and a conference hall. FAKT plans to employ 5,000 people at the new facility.
