Euronews to launch TV channel in Serbia

The French based broadcaster Euronews together with the Serbian-based media group HD-WIN are launching Euronews Serbia. The news channel and digital platform will target Serbian speaking audiences. “We are delighted to be collaborating with HD-WIN to create a quality independent media,” said Euronews CEO Michael Peters. “In the past 25 years, Euronews has become a recognized and trustworthy media, thanks in particular to our “All Views” editorial line, which guarantees an impartial treatment of news.” The new platform will employ 100 people. The owner of HD-WIN is Telekom Serbia, which currently operates 4 sports channels under the Arena Sport brand. In 2018 Euronews partnered with IN Media group to launch Euronews Albania, TV and digital media offering targeted at residents of Albania as well as Albanian speakers in Kosovo, Macedonia and Montenegro.
