Eset is preparing to launch an international architectural contest for its new campus in Bratislava’s Patrónka district. Slovak studio a11, whose design the software giant presented in the tender to buy the site that used to house St. Michal’s hospital in Patrónka, is expected to take part in the competition. Eset won the electronic auction with a bid of €26.4m. The new campus will offer 25,000 sqm of office space for 1,400 employees, alongside generous parking space (either underground or in a parkhouse), which would be open to the public on the weekends. The project will also include a pavilion for startups, a training center for students, various labs, a canteen, a conference center and a fitness center. Housing for the Eset staff should also be part of the scheme, as well as a kindergarten. Costs are estimated at €100m.
