Ekolife opened a pellets factory in Ginovci, northeastern Macedonia. The new factory has the capacity to produce 20,000 tons of pellets annually. Kovan MI was the general contractor. The company started assembling the plant in Bosnia before the pieces were transported to Macedonia and installed. Costs topped €3m. The Bosnian-based Kovan MI has constructed and installed more than 10 pellet factories in Serbia and Bosnia over the last two decades. It employs about 300 people in two factories in Bosnia, one for metal processing and the other for wood processing.
