€4m investment for development in northern Montenegro

A Government of Montenegro development project supported by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) has secured €4m in funds for investments during 2019. They will be carried out in seven north Montenegrin municipalities. They include new waterways, roads and agricultural investments. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Milutin Simovic, said that the successful realization of the project confirms that 2019 will be a significant one for investments in Montenegrin agriculture. He added that the government is paying special attention to development in the northern parts of the country. A total 32 kilometers of roads will be topped with asphalt thanks to the investments.
