As the season progresses, Croatian Nautica results have been improving, especially in July. There have been major changes in the structure of arriving guests. Americans, English, French and Scandinavians have practically disappeared from Šibenik, but Croats, Slovenes, Austrians and Germans have increased. The northern Adriatic has experienced the least losses, but the situation becomes increasingly worse heading south. Dubrovnik is in particularly bad shape, with the number of guests having fallen by 65 percent. Just 112,810 visitors came over the first seven months of the year, less than half of the 317,00 that visited in 2019.
