Deufol broke ground on its new packaging and logistics plant in Debrecen, eastern Hungary. The campus will be the German company’s regional SEE hub, and it will employ 120 people at the site. The Hungarian government is supporting the investment with HUF 7bn. “Amid intensifying global economic competition, logistics and packaging is the first step in how companies deliver their products to customers, and the role of the packaging industry is increasingly important,” said Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs Péter Szijjártó.
