Germany Property company DEMIRE Real Estate AG completed 2018 with significant improvements in key operating and portfolio ratios. The company’s rental income stayed around the same from the year prior at €73 million. However, profits exceeded expectations as Demire earned €69.1m after taxes in 2018 compared €19.4m in 2017. The drastic increase in profits come from lower financial expenses and valuation effects in their proprietary portfolio. At the end of 2018, shareholder equity in the company amounted to €582.3m, €250m up from 2017. In 2019, Demire plans to boost rental income to as much as €79m.
