Germans have been looking into Greek holiday destinations with far greater frequency in recent days. German tour operators announced the start of holiday package sales for Greece and Spain last week, while their British peers are expected to begin packages for the two countries on July 11. The tourist industries in both countries are in dire need of foreign tourists.

They may finally begin returning, as airlines begin to announce the resumption of long-haul flights. Qatar Airways has just revealed that it will be increasing its global network to more than 270 weekly flights to over 45 destinations. This includes an increase in the number of flights to Greece.
