Residential prices in the Czech Republic rose 10 percent over the last year to an average price of CZK 60,700, according to Deloitte. Together with the website cenovamapa.cz, the consultancy reports that while prices in the center of Prague can reach CZK 150,000 per square meter, Prague 1 is also the only district where prices exceed CZK 100,000. Usti nad Labem is at the other end of the scale, with flats in that city costing just CZK 17,000 per square meter. Prices rose quickly in Prague (17.3 percent) but Deloitte reports that residential prices in České Budějovice jumped by more than 20 percent.
