The Czech Highway Authority will be adding a third lane to the D10 motorway for two kilometers on the direction leading way from Prague at the 44th kilometer, just before the primary exit to Mladá Boleslav. It's designed to ease congestion and increase safety on what's become one of the busiest stretches of motorway in the country. The third lane ends just before Exit 46, which the main exit for trucks delivering components to the Škoda Auto manufacturing plant. Work is set to begin September 1 and continue until the end of the year at a cost of nearly CZK 25m.
