The Czech company CTP intends to buy the Cefin Arad logistics park. The deal is expected to close this year. The park was developed by Cefin, but the company eventually collapsed. The price of the deal was not disclosed. The industrial park, located in the western part of Romania near the Arad-Timisoara highway, offers 93,000 sqm, 43,000 sqm of which are currently leased. CTP plans to investment an additional €15m into the property, which will be rebranded CTPark and offer new 1,000 sqm units. Tenants include Gebrüder Weiss, Schenker and Gefco.
“Romania is an important growth market for CTP, and we believe it is time to expand the CTPark network in the region,” said Remon Vos, CEO of CTP.

A month ago, CTP bought Mercury Logistics Park, near the Bucharest-Pitesti highway, from Heitman. Tenants include Rhenus Logistics, Dumagas Transport and Tibbett Logistics.
