Croatian housing prices rise 7.4 percent in Q1

Housing prices rose 7.4 in Croatia during the first quarter 2019 compared to Q1 2018. In Zagreb, they grew 4.3 percent while the figure was 4.6 percent in the Adriatic-coastal region, according to the Central Bureau of Statistics. Overall, prices were 3.5 percent higher during the first three months of the year than they were at the end of the last three. The growth was more pronounced in new build flats, with 10.1 percent growth recorded year-on-year (7.4 percent q-o-q). In Zagreb, prices for new build units rose 11.4 percent compared to Q1 2018.
